Wow, can y'all say forever? lol I've been away for awhile and have been tied up in mad real life stuff. Someone very close to me passed away recently, and needless to say, it was tough. It still is. BUT I am starting to return to normal, whatever that may be, soo...

I'm UPDATING my boutique! :D :D Finally, I know..I still owe a contest prize to handbaghailey. She was the winner of Project Girlsense: Season 1 on Girls United, the girlsense forum. She worked hard on all the challenges and created these beautiful outfits week after week. So please watch for her winning fashions appearing in my boutique very soon!

Saying Goodbye to Summer

My gals went back to school on August 17th but I know most other gals started more recently. September 22nd marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Time just seems to fly by. Already the holidays are fast approaching. I will be 10 times more busy than I am now, which, believe me, seems near impossible! LOL But what fun is life, if not busy? =]

GUPS will be starting up at Girls United again pretty soon. Won't you come over and follow? If you are not familiar with it, it's a Polyvore Set creation contest. Each week the contestants are given specific criteria they must use in creating their set, and each week the contestant with the lowest score is eliminated :( The last designer standing....is the WINNER! It's always a lot of fun and since last season I was a judge, I decided to try my hand at contestant this time around. It's gonna be tough as there are some really incredible set designers out there! Hi y'all! WOW what a crazy mad world my life has been these past few weeks. A little personal to talk about, but FINALLY starting to come back to earth! =D I am waaaay behind on EVERYTHING and am working hard to catch up. If you have sent me notes on Girlsense or messages on Polyvore, please be patient my friends, I WILL respond, I promise!

GUPS is starting back up and this go around I am going to try and be a CONTESTANT! *gulp* I am a little nervous as there are some AMAZING Polyvore designers who will be entering! I shall do my best. Follow it all here and over at Girls United. Check out my POLYVORE PROFILE here and cheer me on! I'll post here as soon as the first challenge is up! Wish me luck!

I want to say a quick thank you to all my online friends who have offered their support and encouragement in this crazy time in my life. Things are coming around and life is getting a little easier. I am SO GRATEFUL to everyone who reads and follows, it makes it all worth it!

I will not be on Girlsense or the forum much in the coming week or so. My mother-in-law, who lives in a very small town, will be coming to stay with us while she receives some MUCH needed care. Since transporting her back and forth (4 hours each way) is completely out of the question, I will be her round the clock nurse. I know you all understand and I will update how things are going. You all are so awesome and I can't even begin to tell you how much all your sweet comments mean to me. VERY appreciated and taken to heart! I will miss you all! =D

When I get "back", I PROMISE to update the Fashion and Outfit of the Week, so keep creating your wonderful works of art!

Oh My Feature!

I put up a poll on Girlsense, to ask the users what is the ONE feature they would want to see on Girlsense first??

I must confess that I want ALL of that! LOL but realistically, if Girlsense could only do one or even two if we're nice, which ones would I want? Well I desperately want to be able to price fashions for a specific user. There are girls from around the WORLD and it's sometimes near impossible to price something and hope that others don't buy it first =D....having said that, I think I would appreciate a Save for Later feature first and a clone tool second. Sometimes it takes a very very very long time for me to make something, and being able to save and come back, would make it all the more sweeter! Also the clone tool!! Sometimes you need to move a deco that you have already placed, well now you have lost your shape, your rotation, your color, everything on that deco style and now you have to try and replicate it! FRUSTRATING to say the least! xD

Girlsense is constantly updating and all the new and past stuff we have is just GREAT! I can't tell you how much I love the new FDS compared...the possibilites are endless if you let them be! ;o) But wouldn't these features be the icing? I think so!

On a side note, there is one other feature that I left off the poll as I thought these above were more important. Girlsense introduced the Outfits feature! BRILLIANT! Just one more creative outlet, but how about if we could PRICE that outfit as ONE. In other words, I make an outfit, (dress, shoes, purse, hair, etc.) and I wanna price the whole group for 500 gcents....then a buyer can come along and get the outfit as one! :D It's so sad to see a beautifully created outfit split up between buyers! :( Pricing OUTFITS, would fix this, but so would being able to price for a specific user! ;o) (hint hint Girlsense)

So tell me what you think? Let's vote and let Girlsense know what we think! After all we are the ones that play, right? :D

How'd you make that HAIR?!?

LOL I get this question A LOT, so I thought I would work up some screen shots and post them here. Hope it helps some of y'all out!

First take a dress or skirt (any will do as long as it covers the head with some to spare so you can cut away a shape. I usually cut out the face and bangs first (above), cuz it's easier for me, but you can start however you like. Then cut the basic shape of the hairstyle you want (below)

After you have the shape you want, carefully cut away all the dress/skirt so that all you are left with is the shape of your hairstyle! (below)

Now you can just select and delete the opacity cut and change the color as you like. The paint and stamp decos are used for textures and shading (below). Use the filters menu as well. The stencil and 3-D filters are GREAT for making hair textures. It takes practice, practice practice. Try different color combos, opacity levels and filters to experiment and see what YOU like! But these are the basics! =D

Hi Y'all! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I know I am and my daughter comes home in like T-minus 16 hours! xD I am beyond excited. For those that don't know, my 14 year old has been visiting her BFF in Tennessee (1600 miles away) since June 2nd! Gaaaah how did I survive?!? LOL but she will be landing at 5:45 tomorrow and I hope I don't embarrass myself! ;o) She better not have any tattoos! hahahaha

I am totally addicted to this game...I waited and waited for them to release it (I already have Sims and Sims2) and now I have it..it's AWESOME! There is something about controlling imaginary people that is FUN! xD Anyone got it? Anyone playing it? Comment! :D

FINALLY!

LOL I know, jeez....but finally I am ready to post! There is so much work BEFORE you go on vacation and then so much work AFTER you get back, just trying to groove back into normal routines! xD But I have finally unpacked everything and cleaned house, put away luggage, threw out bad produce and the list goes on and on!

So I had the amazing opportunity to go with my husband to the 2009 Husqvarna Viking convention. And although he had technical training for all the days, we were able to see the resort in all it's glory, at night. I'm a simple folk y'all, so I was dazzled! Enjoy the pics!

Front Entrance of the hotel, it was near impossible to get the whole thing in the shot! lol It was MASSIVE!!

The theme of this resort is an ATRIUM. The whole inside of the resort area is created to look and feel like you are outside! And they did...other than the air conditioning, you couldn't even tell. There are plants and small creeks EVERYWHERE inside! lol

SEE!? lol, the pictures do not do it justice, y'all! Remember ALL of those are from inside the hotel! This last pic is of the ceiling! And now you can see why it seems outside. The entire roof is made of glass and it allows the Texas sun to shine through...just gorgeous!

These next photos are of the various artworks/sculptures that they show throughout the entire resort area. My fave is "Rose", isn't she gawr-geous?! =D

Project Girlsense hosted by none other than our GUPS winner, Moose! This fabulous competition is going on now at Girls United...sign ups are closed, but you can still follow this awesome comp! Lots of contestants sure to submit some awesome designs. Each week the girls are given an assignment with certain requirements and restrictions they have to follow (i.e use ONLY button decos). Makes it fun and challenging...won't you come and watch!? While you are there, check out all the other exciting things happening on the forum!

Well the countdown is on! My 14 year old leaves in just 8 days to Tennessee for a month! Gaaaaah it's brutal! xD I will miss her so much. A few days after she leaves I am going to join my husband in Dallas! Woohoo! He has a convention but we will have the evenings and a day after convention finishes up! I have never been to Dallas, so if any of y'all know of fun stuff to do there, comment!! I'm looking for ideas! I will have my trusty laptop with me, so hopefully will not be outta touch! Wi-Fi at the hotel for a mandatory 10 stinking bucks a day....ROBBERY! hahahaha, but at least I will be on the information superhighway known as the "Net"...

Yes there are many and they are AMAZING!! Being a mom myself, I get asked the question "Aren't you to old to be on Girlsense?" all the time. I am not offended by that question at all. Because the answer is "no" I'm not. Girlsense, although maybe originally geared for 11 - 14 year old girls, has quickly become a creative outlet for ladies of all ages! It's a community of younger and older...meshing ideas and interacting in fun and friendship...and why not? I have met some amazing girls...sisters, moms, daughters, neices of all ages! lol hello y'all...gosh it's been awhile...a really, REALLY crazy week. School is winding down for my gals and there always seems to be TONS to do! Well I did it...I bought the plane ticket for my 14 year old to visit her best friend in Tennessee. That is like 1600 miles y'all. She stayed with her Grandma down the street for a couple days one time and that is it!

But she's going and she's going to be gone for 28 days...I am excited for her to have the opportunity but I am madly nervous! xD

Main Challenge - Change it UP - Challenged the gals to take an layout/style away from their "norm". But WOW....you couldn't tell. Britta's winning set, was neat, beautiful and just perfectly put together. The outfit was so adorable! Check it out!

Sadly there had to be an elimination and the wonderfully talented and always nice Lemon (Peace♥Lemon ) scored the lowest and was eliminated. Her sets are very gorgeous and you should definitely check out her work! We'll miss you Lemon! My fave set of the competition from her:

So my younger daughter's homework was to write some of her own Limericks which are a kind of humorous verse of five lines, in which the first, second, and fifth lines (8 syllables each) rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth lines (5 syllables each), which are shorter, rhyme with each other. I decided to look some up cuz it was soooo fun helping her write them. Here are a couple cute ones!

There was a young lady from Cork,
Whose pop made a fortune in pork,
He bought for his daughter,
A tutor who taught her,
To balance green peas on her fork!

There was an old fellow named Gene,
Who grew so abnormally lean,
So flat and compressed,
that his back touched his chest,
and sideways he couldn't be seen!

Busy Little Bee...

gaaah it's been frantic and busy this week! It always gets like this as the school year winds down. My gals get out of school for summer on May 21, which I think is pretty early compared to the rest of y'all. Anyway, it gets really crazy with end-of-school banquets, activities, concerts, etc. So I find myself with less and less time....well at least I don't sleep, so that adds extra hours to my days! xD

My oldest daughter had one of her last track meets today before Divisionals. She was doing her 100 meter sprint and was nearing the finish line in second, when....she stumbled! O.O...she didn't fall, but lost her stride and came in 4th. =( I told her that I was proud that she didn't stop running just cuz she made a mistake, she recovered and kept running to the finish. That, to me, shows determination. Yes she was upset with herself and yes she was embarrassed, but she didn't give up and finished the race. That is something to be proud of....and I definitely was!

All mistakes you make in life are needed..they teach you, they mold you. It is not a person's mistakes that makes them memorable, it's what they learn from them.

So awhile ago I got an email from Girlsense (Click Here) asking me if I would answer some questions about what I like and what I would like to see added. Well the other day I got another set of questions asking me questions like what inspires me, my fave actors, etc. So here they are! :D
My Answers:

GirlSense Questions

What do you love most about GirlSense?

On GS I love all that you can do….for free. Designing clothes and a btq makes you feel like you ARE a real-time designer. You have your own shop, it is up to you to market and sell. You have contests, sales, parties, gimmicks, give stuff away for free…whatever you have to do to make your “business” succeed. And now we can create logos! It’s just incredible. No other site on the web offers as much!

How often are you on GirlSense?

ALWAYS…seriously, I visit to check comments and notes MANY times a day, but my longer sessions…two or three times a day at least.

What are your favorite features?

First and foremost, the Fashion Design Studio. It REALLY is amazing what you can do in there. I also love the babble feature, being able to post what you are doing or what you are thinking, brings a whole new spin to GS and in a good way! =D

How long have you been a member?

I have been a member since May of 2007. So approaching 2 years! Yay! School here gets out in May and my young daughter and niece were playing in the Fashion Design Studio (old version) and I couldn’t believe there was a little scissors tool and you could “cut” fashions…I was fascinated and then hooked. Lol I couldn’t get enough…and still can’t!

Design-Related Questions

Describe your style.

Oh wow…well most people would tell you “In real life, I don’t think I would actually wear Stylechix19 fashions because they are more like art”. When I make a fashion, I LOVE to go beyond the norm. I want it to be unusual, wacky, unique and over the top. Similar to costume almost. That’s what I like!

What inspires your designs?

Gosh lots of things really. Inspiration is in everything you see. I have many time told the gals on GS to look for inspiration where you wouldn’t think to find it. Billboards, vegetables and fruits in the supermarket, buildings, flowers, even cars on the street. I once saw this art advert on a bus bench and literally came home and created a dress with the same colors and lines. As the great Coco Chanel once said, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” I live by it! =]

Are you influenced by any real designers, celebrities or people you know?

I absolutely ADORE Bob Mackie! His is a more fashion fantasy style, but his creations are so outrageous and incredibly beautiful, that I cannot help but be influenced by it!

What is your dream job/career?

I would love to of course design fashion, but I consider myself an artist of arts because I love to CREATE anything. So designing fashion, interior design, computer graphic design…I would relish the opportunity for any of those!

What makes you a Fashion Forward Female?

What makes me a Fashion Forward Female? Hmmm….well I am not sure what a Fashion Forward Female is exactly, but I will say that I am humble and I love to be a role model for young girls. I will sometimes get a little bit of “teasing” because I am a 32-year old Mom on Girlsense, but ladies…fashion has no age! XD I am honored to even be a small inspiration to young girls around the world. It gives me great joy to know that gals look up to me and come to me for advice! I think I am kind and courteous and generally liked by people! I always stay true and original to myself and encourages others to do so as well!

Background

Who do you admire and why?

I admire Barrack Obama. I think a man who comes from humble beginnings, a man who, from the very minute of his life, is already “behind”, rises to the top through determination and hard work, and overcomes one of this country’s (United States) oldest prejudices, can ONLY be admired. Young children all over the world look up and say “I can do anything”, that my friends cannot be ignored!

Who are your favorite celebrities/actors/musicians?

Oh my…I have so many. I love Keifer Sutherland, Sandra Bullock and Heidi Klum…these people, while famous, seem genuine and down to earth! I have a wide variety in terms of what musicians I like, but I am currently in love with Duffy. Her throw back, sweet, Jazz like voice is just lovely!

What do you do in your free time?

Girlsense…lol, it’s true! But no that’s not all. I love to read, draw, play video games, and many other websites. I am so a kid-at-heart and need things to be silly! =] On Sunday evenings we play board games (Clue, Monopoly, etc.) as a family. It’s one of my most favorite past-times. You can’t top that!

What kinds of books/magazines do you like to read?

I read tech magazines mostly, some gaming magazines too. Believe it or not, I generally don’t like Fashion magazines…I love to read about fashion on the Web, just not magazines…too many ads, lol. I love Historical Romance, Historical Fiction and Non-Fiction. LOL something about knowing what has already been, is fascinating!

What do you love most about yourself?

I love that I am a goofball! Heehee… I am responsible and live a open fun life with my family, but making jokes and being silly is who I am, and I don’t mind it at all. My teenager might not want me at the mall with her…LOL but she loves me! =D

What would you change about yourself if you could?

I am a procrastinator!! For the gals that don’t know what that means….to keep put off doing something. I do it all the time and it’s horrible! Lol I would definitely get rid of that in a heartbeat! ;o)

ugh...totally no disrespect to anybody who is in any way related, associated, or one themselves...a SNOWBIRD. I live in the desert as most of you know....and Arizona is known for it's gorgeous weather, so during the colder months our population GROWS because those people who live in colder climates will come here to live for a few months...no big deal right? no... really BIG DEAL...the very worst part, and I suppose you can't appreciate it unless you drive...but the worst part is the TRAFFIC, ugh...weekends...normally "un-busy" days on the roads...but nooooooooooo, not here in AZ...it's like rush hour! It takes twice as long to get errands done. I love to drive, but absolutely hate traffic! O.o BUT it is approaching April and therefore warmer temperatures, therefore leaving snowbirds! *rejoices* sorry y'all, I couldn't hold it in! xD

My Teenager's first boyfriend....

OMG...it's her first one, she's 14 and I'm totally freaking out...xD I am giving her her space and trying to not seem so over protective, but it's not going so well. She goes to high school next year and that's a whole new Talk Show O.O...I can deal, I can hang....I just barely like it, lol He's cute though and plays sports and gets good grades, so how can I complain!? The day she wants to go on her first date, I might pass out y'all...I'm just sayin'...

My Girlsense Contest - Wrapping Up

So a few weeks ago...or maybe it was closer to a month, I decided to hold a 50,000 gcent contest in an effort to encourage people to join Girls United. It worked! From the time I announced the contest, there were 11 new sign ups. Now that may not seem like a lot, but it is! cutepony8 on Girlse nse created Girls United (originally a GirlSense forum, and now soooo much more!) 9 months ago and today we have 289 registered users, 17,277 messages in 699 subjects! Whoa! xD It's a great place to be and a perfect place to make new friends! Join us today! =]

Back to th e contest...

To recap: I created 20 "questions" that challenged the gals to find, scavenge and answer all sorts of forum and girlsense related items. The first 10 to answers those 20 questions correctly moved on to the Design portion of the contest. Design an outfit (outfit, purse and shoes) in the color scheme of black and ANY OTHER color. And YOWSER!! The talent and creativity that emerged, blew my mind. These gals put a lot of effort into their designs and they should all commend themselves for pushing the limits and taking chances. The entries were phenomenal! Click on any of the pictures to see a closer look! ☺

I judged based on the following criteria:

xthemallx (Mall) - This throw back to 1960's Mod, was fabulous! The checker patterned long blouse and go-go boots are just divine!

OMGSML1 (Shannon) - Definitely a style I dig!! The arm and leg tattoo was mad creative! =]

handbaghailey (Katy) - Beautiful Spring inspired ensemble! Sweet and beautiful, this black, red and gold piece was just wonderful and the butterfly was the perfect touch!

Prinzess27 (Prinzess) - Rocker chicks unite! Going above and beyond. The "add-ons" are just incredible! I can hear the music already! xD

swimmer550 (Swim) - A beautiful outfit...could be either day or night! The cut on the bottom is lovely, gives it a 'webbed" kinda feel! Lovely one sided glove gives a hint of sophisticated rebellion!

afmoose95 (Moose) - If there is a such thing as lovely gothic, this is it! The color is just divine and the embellishments are yummy! The tights are a brilliant touch as it would not have been the same without!

KEdwards23 (Aqua) - Glittery gorgeous-ness. The "sheer" sleeves are just beautiful! With the lovely fireworks design and matching purse, this outfit is sure to be the toast of the town! ;)

Englishrose92 (Ange) - Lovely socialite look. A brilliant mix of color of black, white and gold with the platinum blonde hair giving a color kick! Lovely!

xxMarla (Marla) - A unique entry...leaving behind the "dress-up" and going for casual...I love it!! I LOVE the football purse and the jersey is amazing!

So there you have it. Nine incredible designs that obviously these gals put a lot of effort into. I am speechless. Unfortunately, CrazyGirlNumbuh2 did not get her design in on time and was disqualified. It's ok Chloe girl, I hope everything is ok with you :D. So who wins? As I mentioned earlier, I scored based on those three categories. The highest possible score is 100 Points. So here we go....

There is a new tool in the FDS. The logo maker! Awesome. Take your username and spruce it up. Then save it and you can use it whenever you like on your fashions! Woohoo! Here is the first one I made and I plan to make others to match different styles!

We ate at China Star awhile ago and my fortune cookie popped out one of the truest statements I've ever heard in my life. Of course my husband didn't quite agree....poor dude, you can't fight the cosmic rightness of a fortune cookie fortune! xD It read:

What's "IN" for Spring of '09?

We revisit the 1970's and 1980's this season. That's right flashback... Spring promises a jump back with romper jumpsuits and hotpants. Bold bright colors of red, orange, yellow and greens! Metallics and sequins abound! Sheer fabrics for your softer needs. Bows, polka-dots, and scarf belts...and yes folks, maybe a shoulder pad or two! Embellish with huge sunglasses and chunky jewelry...you're sure to look like you just walked off a New York runway!

Girlsense Wants To Interview Me???

So I get an email awhile back from Girlsense asking me if I would be interested in being interviewed...hmmm, lemme think...uhhhh, yeah! LOL...Here is the original email (upper left). I am completely flattered and honored that GS would think of me. After I received the original email, I eventually got the "question" email (lower right), and I responded! =]

These are my responses:

Questionnaire:

What do you think about the 'look' of the site? I think the overall look of the site is very good. The look is fun and fresh. I think that it might be a tiny bit "young" but your main demographic is probably younger, so it fits. I originally saw my daughter and niece on the FDS "cutting" clothes and I said, "What is that?" and the rest is history, I was hooked! =] The layout enables users to see everything in the area they are "playing" in, all in one place. The toolbar at the top allows you to navigate to just about any activity on the site, with the exception of the FDS. Overall, the look of the site is inviting and fun, the colors are bold and bright. From just the homepage, it definitely makes you, as a new user, want to "come in" and see what more the site offers. I think the adverts sometimes will throw girls off and some of them take forever to load thus slowing down the entire page, BUT you offer this site for free and it's a very small price to pay to wait a few extra seconds for the ads. Overall on a scale of 1-10, the look and "feel" of the site is a 9 for me!

What do you do when you come to GirlSense? I probably don't take advantage of EVERYTHING the site offers, but my first LOVE with GS is the DESIGNING. The new FDS is just phenomenal! I love to read my notes and comments and then return the favor. I renovate about once a month. I adore the Babble feature and I use it often. You guys have recently made some much needed improvements to this feature, so thank you! I steer clear of the Market Place. When it was first launched it was incredible! But now people abuse what it is intended for so much, that I just stay away. Finally, I of course love to SHOP! The essence of GS, in my opinion, is the designing and then buying and selling....when I first started it was about buying low and selling high, just like a real business, but in my almost two years on the site, it has become so much more than that. Everyday I am amazed and speechless at the creations I find! And although I am a 32-year old mom of two, I have met some of the most amazing girls on this site and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Have you sent any of the things you've made on GirlSense to your friends? If no, why not? I'm going to assume that you mean through the "share" feature. I haven't using that feature. What I like to do after creating a fashion, especially in the new FDS, is take a screen shot and save it in my files. It is then a clear, large picture of the fashion. After you save something, the details don't show up quite as well, and my fashions are usually incredibly detailed and I like people to be able to see that, so taking a screen shot and then sending/posting it that way is just better. So yes I have definitely shared things I have made on GS to friends and such, just not through the share feature!

Have you ever invited any of your friends to join GirlSense or to visit your boutique? If no, why not? YES!! lol I have desperately tried to get my sister and two of my girlfriends to join, but alas they have not! BUT I have "recruited" several people from POLYVORE.COM to stop in and try it out...even if someone is not interested in the entire aspect of the site, there is so much to do to show your creative side, that people are bound to find something that interests them!

As an older member, are there any other activities/features/options you'd like to see on GirlSense? Well to be honest you guys have really really done an excellent job with the activities that are included on the site. I might suggest a better ID Card or Profile page. I realize this is tricky because you don't want to allow the opportunity to share sensitive information, but maybe it could be implemented in a way that would allow you to share hobbies/interests, things about yourself and maybe a picture but not birthday, location or email. I don't know if that is possible, but would definitely be welcomed by the GS community. I also think it would be cool if you could "buy" a space on the home page to display just one fashion. So say I pay 500 gcents to get the fashion of my choice, cycled through on the homepage for like an hour or so with others who have paid the same price. Finally, being able to BLOCK a member from commenting on your page or buying your fashions. I know this is an "ugly" feature. But as I'm sure you are aware, there are girls who like to "harrass" other members for seemingly no reason at all. I myself get harrassed all the time by people who are mad that I won't price stuff, or mad that I have a lot of views. It doesn't bother me in the least, I just delete and ignore, but I am an adult! Some of the younger girls on the site, don't take it quite as well, so being able to BLOCK certain users, may give them peace of mind and convince them that it will be ok if they stay! I have seen some fabulous, responsible GS designers quit because they are being harrassed....sad!

Please add any other ideas or suggestions you might have for the site: Oh dear...got a minute? hahaha, these are just features/options that I know I would welcome and many have been discussed on the forum and you may have already been presented some of them!

-Allow fashions to be priced together. In other words, say I make a dress, shoes, purse and jewelry, that all go together as one ensemble. Allowing us to "group" it and price it together as a package price would prevent that beautiful outfit from being broken apart and sold seperately.

-Allow fashions to be priced for a specific username. A lot of girls are in different time zones and even different continents, it's hard to be on to the exact minute of each other....SO, it would be nice to have a feature like this. Girls could do customs and then just price it immediately with the comfort of knowing that only the person it is intended for, can purchase it!

-The ability to SAVE a fashion as a draft and come back to it later. Sometimes it will literally take me hours to complete just one piece (I'm picky so maybe not the best example) and I would LOVE to be able to save it and come back later. I can guarantee you that you would see some amazing creations if people were potentially given days to complete something. I'm sure Michealangelo needed a break or two while painting the Sistine Chapel, no? ;) I realize with over 14 million members that it could get quite "crowded" with people saving hundreds of drafts all the time...the "space" needed would be tremendous I'm sure...BUT allow users only 5 drafts at a time, or even just 1 or 2!! Even that would be a very welcomed addition!

-FDS CLONE TOOL - Please please please!! lol An invaluable tool I assure you. The new color system with stamps is a WONDERFUL start, now you can match colors. I would like to see the color matching available for ALL decos though, not just stamps. But being able to just click "CLONE" and then have the deco, whether it be stamp, button or bow, on your cursor ready to go...no color matching, no size matching, not rotation matching....omg it would make things so much easier! lol, do I sound desperate?? ;)

-UNDO in the FDS - just being able to undo the very last thing you did to a fashion. Sometimes I accidently delete a cut that I have done and then have to make the tedious cuts again, bleh! lol

-A list of word stamps. In the FDS it would be nice to have some pre-approved word stamps. Like: the, and, love, dream, I, design, style, you, etc. Just like the Logo stamps.

-Revamp the MarketPlace. I think being able to put something for auction for like a week, or something and then leave it to be bid on, more of a format like eBay or something similar would be better. It doesn't mean you have to eliminate the current "live" auctions, just give the user the ability to choose which format they would like to use. I LOVE auctions, I just don't like the MarketPlace.

-CHAIN decos - gold chain, silver chain, steel chain...lol any kind of "link" that will allow us to make chains. Currently we have no "metal" links of any kind.

Whew! Ok that's all I can think of. I would like to point out that GirlSense, in my opinion, is a up-to-date and fun site for girls of ALL ages. And the fact that you offer it all FREE is just amazing! Nothing is perfect, so there is always room for improvement, as mentioned above, but overall, the big picture....GirlSense is a safe environment to create, have fun and make friends! KUDOS! So here I am with a blog..I have nearly no clue how to use everything, but I'm working on it!
